One clinician. The whole picture.

Most physical therapy practices split orthopedics, pelvic floor, and sports rehab into separate departments — or separate buildings. Here, one clinician sees all of it together. That's not a convenience. It's how conditions actually get resolved.

What we treat — and how it connects.

Conditions don't show up in isolation. A running injury often involves the hip and the pelvic floor. Postpartum back pain often connects to core function and movement patterns that nobody addressed before returning to exercise. The list below reflects the full scope of what we see at Centered — not as separate specialties, but as overlapping problems that one clinician treats together.

01

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy

Leaking, pelvic pain, prolapse, painful sex, vaginismus, tailbone pain, urgency, and pelvic pressure all fall here. Treatment involves a thorough assessment — including internal pelvic floor evaluation when appropriate — so that what's actually driving your symptoms gets addressed, not just managed. This is the primary specialty at Centered, and it's treated with the same directness as any orthopedic problem.

Orthopedic Physical Therapy & Manual Therapy

Low back pain, neck pain, hip problems, knee injuries, shoulder pain, plantar fasciitis, herniated disc, rotator cuff issues, ACL recovery — these are treated with hands-on manual therapy and targeted exercise, in full-hour one-on-one sessions. No double-booking. No rotating through a tech and three different exercises while you wait for someone to check in.

Pre & Postpartum Rehabilitation

Pregnancy-related back, hip, and pelvic pain. Diastasis recti. Birth preparation. Postpartum recovery at any stage — whether your baby is six weeks old or six years old. PT during pregnancy is safe and often significantly helpful. And no, you haven't missed a window. The body responds to good treatment regardless of how much time has passed.

Return to Running & Movement Reintegration

Movement reintegration means rebuilding the way your body moves after injury, surgery, pregnancy, or a long break — not just clearing you to exercise, but working through the specific mechanics and load progression that make returning to activity sustainable. For runners, that includes gait analysis and the pelvic floor piece that most running-focused clinicians skip entirely.

Trigger Point Dry Needling

For chronic muscle tension that hasn't responded to stretching, massage, or general exercise — dry needling targets specific trigger points to reduce pain and restore normal muscle function. At Centered, it's used as part of a broader treatment plan, not as a standalone fix.

Who lands here

Most patients arrive needing more than one of these at once.

It's the runner whose hip flares every spring who also leaks a little on long runs and assumed both were just part of the deal. It's the postpartum patient cleared at six weeks who has pelvic pain, back pain, and no real guidance on what to do next. It's the person with a herniated disc and pelvic floor tightness that nobody connected until now.

The integration isn't a marketing claim. It's what actually happens in the clinic. When one clinician sees the pelvic floor, the orthopedic history, and the movement patterns in the same session, the treatment plan reflects all of it — not just the piece that matched your referral code.

That's exactly what the free call is for. If your symptoms feel too vague, too minor, or too hard to categorize — or if you've tried PT before and it didn't work — a thirty-minute phone conversation is the right first step. We'll listen to what's going on, tell you honestly whether we think we can help, and give you a clear sense of what treatment would actually look like before you commit to anything. No pressure.
